GLN-50P ( PSA ) series

nitrogen generator

Description

All-in-one nitrogen generators supplying nitrogen flow up to 50 liters/min
The GLN series of self-contained nitrogen generators are integrated with two oil-free air compressors and a high efficiency air filtration system which produces up to 50 liters/min of nitrogen
at a maximum of 100 psig of pressure.

Two integrated oil-free compressors are designed to operate alternately so as to ensure a continuous supply of nitrogen and to prolong the service life of these units.

Through the use of an air compressor, oxygen (O2), nitrogen (N2), and other gases molecules are directed to a chamber within which a carbon molecular sieve (CMS) is seated. The CMS pore
openings are 3.0 Å . Oxygen molecules are 2.9 Å and N2 molecules are 3.1 Å.

Because of their smaller dimensions, Oxygen and other gas molecules are adsorbed by the CMS, whereas the larger dimensions of nitrogen molecules allows them to easily pass through the chamber towards their respective application(s).

This generator is also equipped with temperature and pressure sensors that continuously monitor the unit’s systems. Operating data, such as the air compressors’ and the system’s working hours, motor temperature, nitrogen pressure, as well as oxygen level (optional), are outlined on the LCD display panel.

Features
Only 67cm in height; can easily fit under a counter.
Ideally supplies nitrogen gas for LC/MS/MS, QDa, MP/AES, ELSD, sample evaporators, and much more.
Assembled with industry standard hollow fibre membrane modules and highly reputable compressed air filters.
Plug and play diagnostics port – requires no compressed air supply.
Two integrated, oil-free, and low resonance air compressors, operating alternately to extend service life and ensure continuous nitrogen supply (24 hours).
Built-in temperature and pressure monitoring sensors, with LCD display and system alarms; ensures safety, protection, as well as real-time operating hours, set parameters, maintenance requirements.
Optional kits:
- oxygen analyzer
- compressed air pressure sensor
- RS232 or RS422 interfaces

Why use gas generators instead of gas cylinders ?
Because nitrogen gas cylinders operate at very high pressures (up to 125 BAR), numerous safety hazards exist and must be taken very seriously as sources of potential danger. They may explode and cause extensive physical damage to property, equipment, and personnel. Additionally, their cumbersome manual handling and storage add to the concerns. With gas generators, users can eliminate :
• Storage of high pressure cylinders.
• Manual handling of cylinders.
• Changing cylinders.
• Potentially dangerous leaks of gas from pipework.
